Course Description

Add some light and beauty to your home! In this 2-Day weekend intensive you will learn to: create a distinctive pattern, cut and grind glass, foil wrap and solder your panel, and finally patina and polish your work. You’ll finish with a stunning unique night light. You will have a variety of glass colors to choose from and will have individualized guidance the entire way! Lunch and basic materials/tools are included.

Beginner

The Night Light workshop lends itself wonderfully to beginner makers, even first-time students. A night light is a manageable size and with a bit of guidance from the instructor we can have a beginning student designing a light that will be wow worthy without being overwhelming.

Intermediate

Looking for a bit of challenge? Night lights can pose a great design challenge. The small working space will stretch your ability to make a design that packs in your imagery without over-crowding with solder. Let me help you execute a stunning intricate night light.

Advanced

Are making intricate flat panels a breeze? Lets get crazy and add some dimension to your night light! Begin to think in the round and together we will work through the balance of design and structure!
