GLASS WIND CHIMES

Imagine sitting in your backyard or on your porch and listening to the relaxing sound of chimes. What could make that better than knowing that you made them yourself? Class 1 students will learn to cut glass and then will cut and decorate their chimes in preparation for fusing. Between classes students wind chimes will go into the kiln to fuse the decorations in place and to soften the edges. These rounded edges are what give the glass chimes the strength to stand up to their job as chimes. Class 2 students will cold work and assemble their wind chimes.
